If your phone is not touch-responsive after a drop do this: Seeing where the cables attach I only had to remove the back cover and push a little bit on the body at that place against the screen. This video is really helpful. I have Toshiba Satellite C55-B2570. For this model, instead of XXX pins, the two pins needed to be jumped is marked as JPW. I followed your steps but I FORGOT to REMOVE the hard disk before I jumped the JPW pins. After I put everything back in and powered on the laptop. The BIOS password prompt window no longer showed up -- good ! it was removed successfully, BUT a window asking for HDD or SDD password began showed up, I don't know the HDD password, how could I remove or bypass the HDD or SSD?
